BEYOND THE BOARDROOM | WELCOME
The Offer Is Accepted. Now the Experience Begins.
Beyond the Boardroom helps organizations create coordinated, high-touch transitions for consequential new leaders, from offer acceptance through the first 100 days of connection, organizational immersion, and integration.
We connect the people, relationships, logistics, and thoughtful experiences surrounding a leadership transition, helping executives focus on understanding the organization, building trust, and beginning the work they were hired to lead.
Designed to complement HR onboarding, relocation, and internal leadership processes—not replace them.
Organizations invest heavily in finding the right leader. The experience after “yes” matters too.
THE BUSINESS CASE
A Strong Appointment Deserves a Strong Beginning.
A new executive may be learning the organization, building trust with senior stakeholders, relocating a household, and navigating an unfamiliar community—all while being expected to lead.
HR, relocation providers, executive offices, and leadership teams may each manage their responsibilities well. Yet the executive experiences all those moving parts as one transition.
Beyond the Boardroom creates greater continuity across that experience, helping organizations make the transition feel intentional, coordinated, and welcoming.
BEYOND ONBOARDING
HR Manages Employment. Relocation Manages the Move. BTB Connects the Arrival.
We look across the experience surrounding formal onboarding: how the leader is welcomed, which relationships need to form early, what organizational context matters, and where handoffs between teams may create unnecessary friction.
We coordinate agreed touchpoints and support a thoughtful transition roadmap while respecting the responsibilities of the organization's existing teams.
WHAT WE CAN COORDINATE
The First 100 Days Should Support the Leader, Not Compete With the Role.

WHAT THIS LOOKS LIKE
A New CFO Is Relocating. Several Teams Are Involved. Who Owns the Whole Arrival?
HR is managing employment onboarding. A relocation provider is handling the move. The executive office is building the calendar. Each function has responsibilities, but the leader experiences all of it as one transition.
Beyond the Boardroom helps map that experience, clarify handoffs, coordinate agreed touchpoints, identify key relationships, and consider executive and family needs where appropriate.

Our hospitality-led approach considers the person behind the appointment while respecting privacy, preferences, and boundaries.
