Lindsay Maxwell-Stewart
Lindsay Maxwell-Stewart is the Founder and CEO of Alexander Recruiting, LLC and Beyond the Boardroom. Her career has been shaped by a recurring strength: bringing people, environments, details and relationships together around moments that matter.
Her experience in hospitality and event work dates back more than two decades. Early in her career, Lindsay worked as an event planner at B. Smith's restaurant, gaining firsthand experience in hospitality, guest experience and the details required to bring significant gatherings to life.
From there, her experience expanded across higher education, institutional environments, executive-facing engagements, galas, leadership gatherings, milestone moments and other high-touch experiences where discretion, coordination, hospitality and attention to detail mattered.
Over time, Lindsay's work has consistently placed her in settings where people, purpose and presentation intersect. She has supported significant professional and VIP moments, contributed to major organizational experiences and remained closely involved in board, committee and philanthropic work centered on service, community and meaningful impact.
Her work is grounded in orchestration: seeing who needs to be involved, what is missing, what the environment should communicate, what may go wrong and how people should feel when the experience is over.
Through Alexander Recruiting, Lindsay has also identified and recruited senior leadership talent, conducted confidential searches, advised organizations navigating important hiring decisions and built trusted relationships with executives and institutional leaders. That executive search career sharpened her understanding of leadership, culture, discretion, stakeholder dynamics and the human experience surrounding consequential decisions.
Philanthropic service and community leadership have also remained an important part of Lindsay's work. She currently holds both executive board and active board positions and has contributed her time, leadership and professional experience to nonprofit, educational and community-focused initiatives.
