As Founder and CEO of Alexander Recruiting and Beyond the Boardroom, she brings together executive perspective, concierge-inspired hospitality, and a deep understanding of the relationships that make organizations thrive.

For Lindsay Maxwell-Stewart, hospitality has always been about more than exceptional service. It is about creating an atmosphere where people feel welcomed, valued, and genuinely cared for.
Her professional journey began in the hospitality industry, including event planning at the celebrated B. Smith's restaurant, where she developed an appreciation for the details that transform an ordinary gathering into a memorable experience. That foundation would follow her throughout a career spanning more than two decades.
From higher education and organizational operations to executive search and entrepreneurship, Lindsay has built her career at the intersection of people, leadership, and meaningful experiences. She has worked alongside university administrators, executives, boards, and organizational leaders, supporting important decisions, leadership transitions, and high-visibility initiatives.
In 2018, she founded Alexander Recruiting, LLC, building a business centered on executive talent, trusted relationships, and understanding the people behind an organization's success. Her work across multiple industries strengthened her belief that exceptional leadership and exceptional experiences share something essential: an understanding of people.
That philosophy inspired Beyond the Boardroom, bringing together her love of hospitality, creative experiences, organizational strategy, and concierge-level attention to detail. While Alexander Recruiting remains focused on executive and professional search, Beyond the Boardroom supports executive arrivals, integration, and corporate experiences.
A National Concierge Association Certified Concierge Professional, Lindsay has contributed to association leadership through her service as At-Large Director of Administration and her involvement as an NCA Endorsed Partner.

Do we have to use all three services?

Is Beyond the Boardroom an event planning company?
Event coordination can be part of our work, but our broader focus is corporate experience management. We combine organizational strategy, hospitality, leadership engagement, and thoughtful delivery around a clear purpose.
